Ikaw at Ako

IKAW AT AKO

Kudos, Sir! Muli nating ibalik ang tunay na OPM.

"To forgive is to rediscover the inner peace and purpose that at first you thought someone took away when they betrayed you."
I have died everyday waiting for you.
"Sometimes we don’t forgive people because they deserve it. We forgive them because we need it, & because we cannot move forward without it."

Miffed

Sabi niya,
"Hindi ako insensitive, ikaw ang sensitive."

Ouch.

Smile :)

"Smile. Let everyone know that today you're a lot stronger than you were yesterday."

“Follow your heart, darling, and please, please – try not to over-think things. Relax and enjoy yourself. You are so young, sweetheart. You have so much of life to experience yet, just let it happen. You deserve the best of everything.” - Carla Adams (Fifty Shades of Grey)

Language of Love

"Love is a language spoken by everyone, but only understood by the heart."

12:51

No, it's 2:48 AM and i can't sleep. As usual. I've been this insomniac since we started reviewing for the upcoming Nursing Licensure Exam. I know, i'm stress and anxious and i've tried everything to calm my head but all the methods I know seems not to work. So here i am, doodling again.

The song 12:51's been stuck on my head for some time now, for certain reasons. Reasons that should not be brought to consciousness, so far i have succeeded suppressing my thoughts on that matter. I know i have to confront it sooner or later, i just wish i would make the right decision and wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

"And maybe that was the biggest mistake of my life
And maybe I haven't moved on since that night"

Ahh. I must sleep.

Picturesque

I am very fond of taking pictures with my Sony point-and-shoot and while we were at fuel.ph last Friday i took some amateurish pics that would exhibit (hopefully) the scenic interior of the place. Here's some.

Would you believe i just took this with a point and shoot cam?

I love this one here. No, i mean the photograph.

Ah, my gallant distant relative and friend, Joseph Montano.

He's usually my photographer, but for this night he's my subject.

Ted has a good eye for photography. He took this, BTW.

Took this at the powder room. nice eh?
Do you dare? I shot this from their freedom wall.

We also got the chance to watch the "open floor", we didn't participate though. Not our thing. hehe. After chilling for some time at fuel.ph, we headed to Coffeebreak Avenue, drank cold coffee (but i had mine hot, cold's not good for my throat), discussed school and the upcoming board exam and gossiped. I never knew boys could be so verbose! I had fun, though.

Calling Names

Names are used for identification, to distinguish someone uniquely from the others. Most of us have one, two or three names. In my case i have two, Alexia Mae, but i was nicknamed, Tin-Tin. My mom said they took it from St. Augustine's since i was born two days before his feast day.

At home, they call me Tin-Tin,  sometimes Tinay. And at times when Mom gets mad at me she calls me Acay. They say, it's Mommy's own translation of maldita. Hehehe.

My friends have different names for me, still derived from my first name. Most of the people know me as Alex.

When i was studying in Cebu, they call me Lexie and i love it. :)

Here in Iloilo, i was only known as Alex. Some call me Lex and Alexis. It doesn't matter. As long as you don't call me anything offensive, i won't make a fuss. Hehe.

FUELed

Have you heard of any place that offers not just food and a laid-back place but a society of revolutionists as well (in a good sense, though)? If not...

I introduce to you, Fuel.ph

Fuel.ph is located at Smallville Complex, Iloilo City. It's not just a tambayan, it's more of a society where you share common and contradicting ideas about anything. Their advocacy is to provoke young individuals who have hidden skills and passion to use it for betterment. They say Fuel.ph is more than a cafe, it's a MOVEMENT!

Fuel.ph offers wide variety of foods, my favorite was their rendition of Snow Balls
Have you tried snow cones? Yes, that shaved ice desserts served in a paper cone or cup topped with a sugary syrup. In our part of the globe, we have different variations like ice scramble and iced candies which are quite uninteresting already. For a change, I tried snowballs at fuel.ph.

I failed to take pictures of the place since there was a "gathering" when i went there with a friend. But here are some pictures of the famous snow ball and me. Haha.

This was taken by Joseph via instagram, i just grabbed it from his timeline.

I read Wuthering Heights while waiting for our snow balls.

Good thing Joseph was with me, i have someone to take my pictures. haha. I promise, when i have a chance to visit Fuel.ph again, i'll take more pictures. Ok?
